TR gets into the Caribbean spirit with donation to charity night at The Anchor Inn & Boating
TR Support will go towards funds raised for local Sussex primary schools
TR Fastenings (TR) is donating a special raffle prize to a special Caribbean themed charity night being held at the beautiful Anchor Inn & Boating pub in Barcombe on the river Ouse in Sussex. The pub, which sits in one of the most unspoilt and rural areas of the county, is hosting the fun-filled evening to raise money for local primary schools.
The event, which will take place on Friday 30th June from 6pm – late, will raise money for three local schools: Barcombe primary, Little Horsted primary and Hamsey primary. The festivities are expected to attract over 1000 visitors from surrounding villages. There will be a steel band, a DJ, and a contest for the best dressed, in line with the Caribbean theme. One of the highlights of the night will be the charity auction, and a raffle featuring a number of prizes including a mystery gift from TR.
Geoff Budd, TR Europe Managing Director, comments: “Supporting primary schools is so important and this event is a fun way of getting local communities together for a drink, a dance and lots of fun. We are proud to be involved and wish all the team at The Anchor the best of luck for the event.”
