TR Fastenings Receives a Warm Welcome at Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo Stuttgart 2016

TR Fastenings recently enjoyed a highly successful three days at the 2016 Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo in Stuttgart - the first time the company had exhibited at this show.

As a leading manufacturer and distributor of fastenings and components that are widely used within the automotive sector, the Expo provided TR with an ideal opportunity to showcase its cost-effective manufacturing and supply solutions, as well as introduce itself to new customers.

Thinking locally; operating globally

TR Fastenings particular focus is on supporting Tier1s as a full service provider (FSP); giving end2end service from design, manufacture and right through to smart logistic solutions in order to reduce the total cost of ownership. With automotive sites in Sweden, Holland, Germany, Italy and Hungary TR is particularly well-positioned to support the Tier1s in these regions. Combined with its global manufacturing capabilities and sourcing expertise, TR can supply almost every fastener required for a vehicle assembly. It specialises in producing fasteners to go into both interior and exterior assemblies, including seating components, IP consoles, trim, braking systems, airbag assemblies, and highly engineered complex parts for engine and powertrain fastenings. This together with its key AVL vendors enables TR to manage a complete bill of materials.

Chris Black, Director of Global Automotive Business Development, commented, “We were delighted by the positive reception we received from visitors to the show and our team is currently following up on some exciting new business opportunities. The automotive industry accounts for 31% of our global turnover and looks set to continue to grow rapidly, both in Europe and globally. The atmosphere at the show reflected this buoyant mood and we look forward to returning in 2017.”

"It's fair to say this has been one of the best shows yet, with over 300 exhibitors and more than 3,600 visitors across the three days,” commented Graham Johnson, the show’s organiser.
