TR proud to support East Kilbride Football Club

Download as PDFTR Fastenings’ Scotland division (TR), part of Trifast plc, global specialist in the design, engineering, manufacture and distribution of industrial fastenings, is delighted to support East Kilbride FC. The semi-professional team currently playing in the Scottish Lowland Football League, in their short history, has won the SLFL title twice, and reached the last 16 in the 2016 Scottish Cup before losing narrowly to the mighty Celtic FC.
By population, East Kilbride is the sixth-largest town in Scotland, and TR’s presence via a premium partner board at the club’s K-Park home represents a wonderful opportunity to increase brand awareness while supporting an important community asset. The SLFL is a feeder league to the Scottish Professional Football League, and the club is keen to move up the pyramid to eventually join the likes of Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

There are plans to begin construction soon on a new ground for the club at Langlands. The stadium will have a capacity of 4,000, and it will stand as testament to the ambition that both the football club and the town have. A new sporting era is dawning in East Kilbride, and TR Fastenings intends to be a part of it.
