TR brings its engineering expertise to life at new Chennai Customer Experience Centre

TR is set to open a new Customer Experience Centre in Chennai, creating a dedicated space where customers can explore the company’s engineering capabilities, product solutions and global supply chain expertise.

Located alongside TR’s new South India Distribution Centre, the Experience Centre has been designed to give customers a more engaging way to understand how TR can support them beyond the supply of individual components.

The centre brings together product information, engineering content, interactive technology and customer meeting spaces, allowing visitors to explore TR’s capabilities from initial design and engineering through to manufacturing, supply chain and global distribution.

From components to complete solutions

At the heart of the Experience Centre is an interactive product gallery, giving customers the opportunity to explore TR’s extensive range of engineered fasteners and Category C components alongside the wider services and expertise available across the business.

Digital displays provide access to product information, specifications and application content, while interactive technology allows visitors to explore TR’s global footprint and engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

The centre also provides a platform for TR to demonstrate how it works with customers to identify opportunities to simplify their supply chains, improve efficiency and manage the wider total cost of ownership associated with Category C components.

This reflects TR’s broader evolution from a traditional fastener supplier towards an engineering and supply chain solutions partner, supporting customers through design, engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and ongoing supply chain management.

 

A space for collaboration

The Experience Centre has also been created as a working environment for customer engagement.

Dedicated meeting and presentation areas provide space for TR teams and customers to discuss current programmes, new product introduction, engineering challenges and potential opportunities for supply chain improvement.

For customers operating across multiple markets, the centre also provides a window into TR’s international capabilities, demonstrating how local customer support in India connects into the wider TR network.

The opening of the Experience Centre forms part of TR’s wider investment in India, alongside the new South India Distribution Centre. The Chennai operation brings together sales, sourcing, new product introduction, customer care, distribution and quality capabilities, supported by local stockholding and fulfilment.
